Art Therapy Ceramics Assistant

Do you enjoy and have experience with ceramics? One or a couple Ceramics Assistants areneeded to help for the Oakwood Village University Woods Art Therapy ceramics class. Volunteer assistants would be needed to help 2 hours a week on Wednesday (1st priority), or Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Ceramics assistants would be trained by the University Woods Art Therapist to help independently pour molds for upcoming ceramics classes. In addition, assistants would need to help the ceramics instructor and University Woods residents during the ceramics class whenever the Art Therapist is away from Oakwood.

No experience is necessary, but would be a bonus if someone has some. Volunteer assistants would need to be able to lift 10 lbs. This volunteer service would be needed once a week to start through December 2024, then switch to every other week in January 2025.

Interested volunteers need to get registered first for placement set up.
